The Welsh Rarebit post is interesting--my mom makes it but she makes more of a sauce with melted cheeses and other things (I've never made so I'm not exactly sure), and we always put it on crackers. It's definitely one of my comfort foods that always reminds me of childhood. I will have to try it on toast now.
