Morning Coffee (7/30/16)
All-Hillary edition today, BECAUSE I CAN.
Here is the text of Hillary Clinton's historic acceptance speech. I still can't believe this is happening.
Hillary Is The First Female Presidential Nominee And The Most Qualified Ever. It’s Not A Coincidence.
She wore white as a nod to Geraldine Ferraro and the suffragettes. (Geraldine and the Suffragettes is not a terrible band name.)
And they were all so delighted with the balloons. It was great.
LOOK AT THESE BUTTONS. (I ordered them and a few other things. Happy birthday to me?)

Hillary Clinton is bad at speeches for the exact reasons she'd be a good president
This is both hilarious and moving: What Hillary really meant to say on her historic night

Smart if true: Report: Anna Wintour Is the Genius Behind Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Wardrobe

Morning Coffee (6/16/15)
Me elsewhere: TV news.
They cancelled the Iowa straw poll and I find that weirdly earthshaking.
Aww: Amy Poehler is getting annual Leslie Knope updates from Mike Schur: “I just want to track what she’s doing”
"Let's say that you are Mitt Romney. That is, you are an American celebrity with a lot of money, few worries, and a loving and tight-knit family you enjoy being around. Now let's also say that you have a bunch of friends who 'could raise a billion dollars overnight.' Is 'run for president a third time' what you'd do what those opportunities? Or would you do 'almost anything else in the world.'"
On John Green, and Why I Love Him
Neat: Coca-Cola Introduces Line of Braille Cans
Star Wars lightsaber colors, explained
Fascinating: This Is What It’s Like To Get Fitted For A Bra At Six Different Stores
How To Tell If You Are in a Dostoevsky Novel

Morning Coffee (2/25/15)
Never too early: The 15 films to look forward to at next year’s Oscars. (One of them is Star Wars.)
Oh, Aaron Schock.
Jeb Bush’s foreign policy vision: Sound confident and compliment his brother.
Henry VIII's evidence to support break with Rome turns up in Cornish library
Speaking of things turning up, I'm enjoying the controversy over the newfound Sherlock Holmes story.
What If "Barks and Recreation"?
I never watched Two and a Half Men but this finale recap was great.
Hahahaha: "Thank every item in your refrigerator deeply – kiss each one of them softly and slowly with your mouth – then prepare for each item a small Viking funeral."
